    I think what the OP was trying to say was, since the live chat is there, you can't help but read it while checking out the WTFs. You don't have to participate in it for it to annoy you.

    And stupid people discussing stupid things is always irritating.

    uh, since it's a chatroom, annoying shit like this affects everyone else in the chatroom and people who want to chat to others in there but can't, because of all the dumb threadjacking. it doesn't freak me out, but these people are better off on some sort of dating site, or flirting on msn.

    ...oh wait, that would defeat the whole purpose of attracting attention from people not in their conversation.
