WTF: At first the chat room was interesting, but now it's becoming filled with guys who just want to hook up/talk to a decent pair of tits and girls wanting attention/confirmation of their looks. The quest for intelligent conversation continues...

  1. most people who come to this site are frosh and second year so it's unavoidable, those are the most attention-seeking years :P

  4. lol i'm sure some of it is joking, but either way it's annoying for people who don't wanna have a normal conversation.

how nice of you to give them so much credit.

  6. Um, if you want to have an intelligent conversation, "WTF UW" may not be your site... just putting it out there.

  14. wait, so the post about that dolce's boobs was left up, but the other one about getting a room was deleted? if you think being told to get a room is creepy, but don't mind the one talking about your boobs, then you're proving the point of this post.

  16. It kind of sucks now. It would be nice to have a place where I can talk to people who are I know are going to the same school that I go to, living in the same area I live in. Basically, people who I can relate to so I can hear and share opinions on stuff everyone sees/experiences. The anonymity of it is great too, so you can just say things rather than worrying about people knowing it was YOU that said it. It's just nice to get a different perspective on things, rather than hearing people talking about boobs. Which is why it mostly sucks now.

  18. it IS fun, and if you actually say "hi"/ make the effort... you may realize it's not so serious/ terrifying LMAO

  19. dolce here,
i also thought the boobs comments were weird.
which is why the mods stepped in when glove was being vulgar.

  20. dolce here,
not the post about me/shoe..im talking about when the mods stepped in for the live chat because they thought you were being vulgar.

  21. @ 10:14 ... so... the only mature, non-attention seeking years are 3+ ...as in you? As in, you're so mature and don't want attention that you posted on WTF UW dissing 1&2nd years...

    ReplyDelete
  22. @12:26 pfft, read before you post. i never said all. there are plenty of attention-seekers in upper years too. and there are mature people i've met in the chatbox that are in 1/2 year. but that is a trend i'm seeing, yes. lower years are younger and newer to university, so it makes sense that they'd be more attention-seeking than the older kids. and no, pointing this out is not attention-seeking. i'm not the one talking about my measurements or making dumb jokes about my dick, here.
