WTF: Today, I realized that instead of sourcing information for themselves and doing research, students at arguably one of the best post secondary institutions in Canada would rather post their questions to an anonymous site to get someone to answer it for them. Laziness, ftw.

I have worked at several places on campus that are there to provide information for PROSPECTIVE students and the majority of our calls/emails would come from current students. We would also get a lot of questions about other departments like registrar's.

The sad fact is, our school puts a ton of money into recruiting students but very little into keeping the current ones happy, or provide resources to help them out.

Has anyone ever gotten ahold of a real person at the registrars office?

If you haven't realized that University is more of a business than anything, then you probably shouldn't be studying at a University
