WTF: Your backpack does not need a seat. It can go on your lap or the ground. That is all.

    It does if there's no person in need of a seat. I always leave my bag on the seat beside me until someone comes on...

    omg that is my biggest pet peeve ever!! unless you're carrying numerous bags.. another thing is people who sit on the outside of the two seats and let everyone else just stand there while there is an empty seat next to them! so rude!!

    What's really annoying is when you share an office and the jerk next to you uses your chair as a rest for their backpack and then complains when they have to move it.

    ^ word. Or when you come into the office and they have their friend in your seat and they're all playing dota. Happened to me last term.
