WTF: Our dear Muslim/Middle Eastern friends at UW. Do you use toilet paper or is there some truth to the hand wipe myth? Just wondering.

    yup.. most of the ones I know wash their parts first and then use toilet paper.
    It sounds complicated but it's much cleaner

    I think you are confused about the myth....
    You are supposed to use your hands to wash your parts, and then you use toilet paper to wipe it off, after which you /wash/ your hands.
    And it's not just the Middle East. Indians, Indonesians and Philipinos do it too.

    2:12, that is still fucking disgusting. It means you have poop on your hand until you touch the taps and clean them... ughhhhh. We should really turn taps off with a paper towel...

    You wipe with paper towels and than you wash with water, and than you wipe again, its much cleaner. Its so that your clean for prayers.

    OP- I wasn't trying to sound insensitive, I just have never really asked about the practice. Didn't mean to offend anyone. This is UW, I was able to ask and receive answers. Riddles with insults as I expected, but answers none the less.

    I've been so confused for the last few months as to why my housemate keeps a water pitcher by the toilet, lol. No wonder there was irrritation when I kept emptying it and putting it under the sink.

    This explains so much.

    many brown people smell bad
    probably becasue of the reactions of the spices they enjoy
    indian food tastes great, but it makes you smell like the grossest mustiest fuck every
    please brown people, be less smelly - I appreciate how a few of you make the effort
