WTF: Just a note to everyone on the GRT: Please be curteous enough to take off your backpack if you're standing. I'm getting really tired of trying to avoid getting hit in the face by someone's huge bag. It's really not that difficult! Thanks.

    If you take your bag off, then the only other place to put it is on the muddy floor. I think people would sooner get tired of having to wash their bag over and over, so it's probably less difficult for you to just move.

    If you ever have to do a regular commute on a crowded bus/subway you'll quickly learn backpacks are a huge pain in the sphincter.

    Shoulder or messenger bags FTW!!

    If I'm standing I need to hold on the handle usually with both hands or I'll go flying all over the place, and/or fall into someone.

    Actually, this is kind of interesting... I'm rarely on busy buses so I don't collide with people. I'll keep this in mind next time. :)

    Probably wouldn't be such a big deal either way if GRT had better designed buses.

    have you been to anyother cities? almost all publick transit busses are designed 90% the same.

    its a bus, people are inconsiderate, thats how the world, dont like it? call a fucking cab

    op you are rather lucky enough to have a seat instead of putting much effort just to not fall in the bus. even though it sucks to be hit by backpacks, surely it is not intentional. you could be generous enough to just move your head a bit if someone is walking by.

    If you're a Sensitive Sally sitting down worried about getting hit in the face, why not give up your seat to one of the standing passengers?
