WTF: is it cheesy to tell a random girl in your class that you think she's absolutely beautiful?

    Depends. Some girls would find it cheesy and/or creepy no matter how you deliver it. And as for girls who'd be cool with it, you'd have to have the right balance of confidence/sincerity, and not be like you're expecting them to jump into bed with you just because you gave them a compliment. I'm a girl btw.

    If you said that, you'd probably just make an ass out of yourself and she'd regard you as a creepy loser. The best way to get to her is look for an opportunity to poke fun at her. As poster above said, nice guys finish last. She'll regard you as a loser and will most definitely tell all her classmate girl friends and poke fun at you

    Cheesy? No.
    If I were you, I'd walk up to her and start small talk conversation. If she responds by carrying that conversation on, then you know you have a chance and you can drop the beauty bomb.
    PS-girls looove to talk about themselves... ask and listen. :)

    Yeah. Whenever it's obvious that a guy can just straight up compliment me like that, the first thing I think is "How many other girls have you said this to, today?" ...I've asked that before and gotten a "why does it matter?"....creep.

    noooo not at all,
    a random guy told me i tooked like an angel and another told me i'm f'kn beautiful.. out of the ones i remember
    it was really sweet because they were being sincere and didn't seem like they wanted to sleep with me
