WTF: There's this girl I have a crush on and b/c she's going away on coop next term I thought I would ask her out. Well I did and her answer was a prompt "No, I think we should just be friends." I am so crushed.

    ya congrats on goin for it. maybe better you did that and she says no than you not asking and having it in the back of your mind all term

    Big props to the OP, asking a girl out point blank takes balls. It always makes you feel better even if you get shot down.

    Tell her you already have friends and are looking for something exciting and real, then walk away.

    OP here, yea well I think she knew it was coming. I'd been kinda giving hints here and there but I figured I should just ask before she leaves.
