WTF: I'm trying to register for chem 123, but it wont let me because the only non-mandatory tutorial time is when another one of my classes is held, and i can't change my class time because its the only time its offered, and i can't drop that course cause its not offered again till next year winter term. I emailed bisonette like two times and have waited for a week, wtf UW stop screwing me over! no one even goes to these stupid tutorials,

    go to science undergraduate office and pick up a course override form and then simply go to bissonettes office and get him to sign it, he'll probably be there and he will sign it without questioning... don't worry, it's easier than you think

    I had the exact same problem. Thank to chemistry classes and always adding shit like midterms to your quest timetable.

    I'm a TA for chem 120/123 and i would without a doubt skip the tutorials if i was taking the course

    but i already know the material so...

    Tutorials like that are good if you have the time and could use a little bonus help. That said, you can survive without em if you have to.

    P.S. emailing profs - especially the good, in demand ones - is often ineffective. Many of them are very very busy people and will simply ignore emails. Go to see them in person.

    OP here, thanks guys, i appreciate everyone's help =], i hate that all our time tables are decided by a computer system, it bugs me that they force you to schedule the tutorial times in, but most don't even go to them =/
