WTF: I'm completely fine with gay people... but I hate it when people are openly gay (or proud to be gay, not that they should be ashamed). What I mean is, you don't see me being proud about being hetero... it's just the way it is, ok?

    Men and women are open and proud about their heterosexuality (sometimes more so than gay people) too... are you blind? How many times have you had conversations that involved hooking up with the opposite sex? Displayed/ publicized a licentious photograph/video of the opposite sex? Same shit.

    Poster 3 is right... I'm a hetero guy, and looking back on my day-to-day conversations, there are lots of little comments about "wow, check out that girl," or "so how're things with [insert g/f name]?" Those could possibly be interpreted as 'proud' heterosexual comments.

    I wouldn't say I'M particularly boastful about my sexuality, but I do know several guys (usually jock types) who talk continuously all through classes [damn them] about girls.

    People who do annoy me are flamboyant guys, personally, but that's not the same as pride. Is that maybe what you meant, dude?

    We also live in a very heterosexual world, where your rights are not in questions! You can talked about your girls, sex, marriage & make out with your partner in a public place with no questions asked! However homosexuals have just barely earned that right. OP you just need to look at your day to day life and realize all the little things you take granted. Then may be just may be you will be a little more open minded about other peoples life styles and less self righteous about your self!!!

    Agree with op, it is annoying when gay people flaunt their gayness. Just like it is annoying when you run into those jock types who can't stop talking about their latest fuck.

    People should try to be more than just their sexuality.

    OP is right... being hetero doesn't define your lifestyle so why does being gay have to define thiers?
