WTF: Which clubs/societies are currently running? It's impossible for me to tell when most of the websites haven't been updated in a few years!

Clubs, Services, and Societies Day for Winter 2010 are on Thursday January 14 and Friday January 15. From 10 to 3 pm in the SLC - Great Hall. You can check out all the booths, and sign up for clubs! I hope this helps. =]

As for the societies, they all should be running, but I know for sure Mathsoc and AHSUM are all very much operational.

it's depressing to see how many societies on campus are abandoned and pretty much barren wastelands

okay I just looked into it, and it doesn't seem as if engsoc is open to people of any faculty other than engineering.. science soc is open to people of other faculties but a few other posters have said it isn't that great
