WTF: Does the GRT know the watcard office doesn't know how to give us updated watcards? I get free buses and I am a grad student! WOOT

    Most bus drivers don't even look at the card. Just flash them anything and get on.

    ive had a few bus drivers ask me to flip my card, i dont know what they are looking for, its not like they are close enough to read anything

    They should have some sort of swiping system like BIOL exams are doing.

    they can't afford the swiping system
    when we first got the pass they mentioned swiping was going to be phased in, but then rescinded when their calculated the costs and shit.
    they may EVENtually start swiping, but for the next few years they have other major plans

    the university is paying GRT millions because of the contract so they're buying more buses, hiring more staff, and adding routes (like the 29, hey!) So yeah - for now swiping isn't the highest priority
