WTF: Being single again sucks now that I'm in Waterloo. Back in High school I'd meet a new girl almost immediately, but now 80% of the people I know are guys, and the girls are all taken. Maybe if I was in Arts I wouldn't have this problem...

    OP Here. and I'm in Software Engineering. ... Yeah. Try meeting girls there.

    Plus all my extra curricular activities are guy heavy. Since I'm not much into the club scene or hanging out at bars, it sort of blows.

    Just to comment on the GIRL in arts, as well as any other person who thinks that the faculty determines whether people like you or not... it doesn't. WTF. "Hey, can I get your number... but WAIT. What faculty are you in..."
    Get a personality, get some self esteem and go for it.
    I bet you that even if you were to switch faculties you'd be in a similar situation on the romantic front.

    ^ uh, what they mean is that they meet much fewer romantic interests when they spend all day in classes that are dominated by people of the same gender. how hard is that to grasp?

    But I was specifically referring to the girl who says she's single and in arts. So what?
    As for the rest, his extracurricular activities are his choice. If he wants to meet girls, maybe he should try new things.

    same thing could go for the girl too. there are many programs in arts that are dominated by females. women's studies, for example.

    OP here. No worries on the confident part, I'm fine interacting with people.

    And yeah, I should try and do other things with girls, I'm just annoyed my interests tend not to overlap with girls :P

    if ur in math u don't have time for EC's. Any girl in arts who switches to math will immeadiately find a bf but he will be a nerd she's using in order to be able to pass.

    Honestly just go to a party where DJ Soundklash is playing, and well you will meet a girl. or if your a girl you can meet the dj ;)

    Try being a single girl in SDS! All the guys are either engaged, married or gay.
