how about instead of a radio staion, you publish podcasts or something like that? it would cost you not nearly as much and it would have the same shitty effect

    i agree. you can download podcasts onto a variety of platforms. i mean, do students even listen to the radio anymore? get with the times.

    i think podcasting cost money too.

    I'm really sick and tired of all of these groups hitting us up for money. It's great how I'm going into debt so I can help fund a student-run radio station (among other things!). I'm sure the university can more than afford most of this (especially building new buildings!).

    The university doesn't really pay for any student services like this..

    And ya, I'm pretty sure that creating the infrastructure to produce and publish podcasts costs money too. Last time I checked that was in the works if they get the money.

    I think they already have the ability to make podcasts and they do make some.

    who the hell even brought a radio to Waterloo?
    last time i checked, most of us live away from home, and didn't bother buying/bringing radios here like we did laptops

    i know i definitely wouldn't have one in my home here if it wasn't for my room mmate who brought a stereo
