    People don't like hipsters because they own some part of a coffee shop and know that hipsters are those people who sit around their coffee shops smoking cigarettes, pontificating about politics that they know nothing about, taking up space and not buying things, thus hurting the stock they have in the coffee shops.

    Well, thats what they say in polite company. In secret they hate themselves for their lack of fashion sense and wish they could be as ironically cool as those hipsters and drink away their sorrows on regular beer because they don't feel good enough to drink Pabst Bro Ribbon.
